Your first visit to Sun Smile Dental establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important information like your medical and dental histories and give you time to get to know our dentists. To understand what to expect from your first visit to our practice, please read through this page.
Our mission is to go above and beyond the normal concepts of a traditional dental and sleep disorders practice. Using the latest computer-driven technology, we strive for presentation of a healthy mouth and body with improved function of the TM joints and airway to control sleep apnea and snoring. Our office strongly believes in the conservative, non-surgical treatment of Sleep Disorders.
We also believe in a "team approach" to patient care using multidisciplinary referrals to other health care professionals as needed. Treatment success is having a patient well informed about their condition and planned treatment, so we invite questions. We take our responsibility seriously in helping you understand the vital role teeth, bones, joints, muscles, and occlusion play in your overall health.
Many patients can develop anxiety when coming to a dental office. We feel that as a health provider we should provide quality dentistry in an environment for lowering anxiety in the dental chair. We have a beautiful office with music, TV’s, headphones, and a fish tank to help relax and calm patients during visits.
Nitrous Oxide and Valium are used where necessary if patients feel they would like to feel more relaxed with these medications.
A calming and healthy environment can aid in relaxing patients to feel more comfortable during procedures. Your comfort is one of our top priorities, so we go out of our way to provide you with the most comfortable and friendly experience possible.
